Ricky Burks is a servant-leader, visionary, and advocate for community transformation. As the Founder and CEO of The Burks Foundation, Inc., he has dedicated his life to uplifting underserved populations through outreach, mentorship, and purpose-driven initiatives.

A proud retired veteran of the United States Army, Mr. Burks brings military discipline, resilience, and integrity into every aspect of his leadership. His passion for people and unwavering faith guide the foundation’s mission to serve with purpose, restore hope, and create sustainable change in communities across Texas and beyond.

Under his leadership, The Burks Foundation has grown into a respected 508(c)(1)(A) nonprofit that provides essential services to veterans, youth, homeless individuals, and families in crisis. Mr. Burks believes in the power of collaboration and continues to form strategic partnerships with local organizations, churches, and civic groups to extend the foundation’s reach.

He is not just a leader behind the desk—Ricky Burks is active in the field, engaging with families, leading food drives, mentoring young men, and inspiring the next generation of servant-leaders.
